Reflections on ‘Beyond the Bassline'
On 19th August 2024 the Fi Wi Road Interns visited the British Library to explore ‘Beyond the Bassline: 500 years of Black British music’, a four month long exhibition and cultural programme. Guided by Aleema Gray and Halina Kaszycka-Williams from the British Museum, they walked through the exhibition and found out a bit more about the process and challenges of co-ordinating a project of this scale.
Listen below to hear the interns in discussion with Halina, who is part of the curatorial team at the British Library.
