Bilan has just completed her BA in Geography at the University of Exeter. Her interests are in political geographies, feminist geographies and urban theory. Particularly, how diasporic women's embodiments and identity making within urban spaces are negotiated by themselves, their wider communities and their histories and cultures.

Sheldon has just recently finished his final year of BSc geography at Royal Holloway University of London. His interests centre around the intersections of gender, race and sexuality and how it represents unique forms of disempowerment, resistance and survival in wider society.

She is interested in how physical geography influences human geography, for example climate refugees, the displacement of people due to tectonic hazards, and the resilience of communities and how they manage their vulnerability.

Temi is in the third year of an MA Geography programme at the University of Edinburgh. They are interested in Black geographies as an epistemological approach,
particularly the creative ways that Black people have expressed lived experiences of space through music, art, and poetry.

Ikram is particularly interested in urbanism, specifically, the experiences of underrepresented groups in the city. This ranges from housing injustices, urban marginalisation, and informal spaces such as Black barbershops.

Rachel is based at the University of South Wales, where they are in the second year of a BSc in Geology and Physical Geography. Rachel’s main interest is in exploring novel methods for flood risk mapping, as well as designing effective risk communication strategies specifically tailored for vulnerable communities.

Maryam studied geography at University College London. She is a human geographer, and is really interested in geographies of care, which she was hoping to explore further in her research and final year of university.

Britney was finishing her 2nd year of Geology BSc at University College London. She is interested in volcanology, igneous petrology, and renewable energy sources. She hoped to explore this at a postgraduate level and aspires to help develop the use of geothermal energy as an alternative energy source in the Caribbean region.

David graduated from Durham University where he completed an MArts Degree in Geography. David’s research interests revolve around experiences of multiraciality in one's intimate lives and exploring how experiences of race emerge through moments and times in place.

Simi completed a BSc Geography degree at Loughborough University. She is particularly interested in exploring the everyday lived experience of socially differentiated individuals, especially experiences in and of the home. SImi was preparing to begin her PhD on the topic.

Mateen completed an undergraduate degree studying BA Geography at the University of Manchester. He is particularly interested in the environmental and social impacts of natural resource exploitation in Global South countries, especially in Nigeria where his family is from.

Marvin studied Climate Change Science and Policy as a Master’s at the University of Bristol. He is particularly interested in sustainability policy and sustainable development and was aiming to pursue a career in this field through work as a consultant or researcher.

Sophie was finishing her undergraduate in Geography at Keele University, with preparations to do a Master’s in human geography research and the hope that it would lead on to a PHD. She is particularly interested in postcolonial, cultural and race geographies with a focus on the Black/Mixed-race experience.

Shubby completed her undergraduate degree in BSc Geography and Economics at the University of Reading. Her interest is in sustainability and environmental consciousness. She planned to research further in the future and take action to educate others on the political and socio-economic intricacies of environmental damage.
