Geography is…Urgent

The Geography is Urgent workshop, led by intern Ariana, explored the critical role of Geography in understanding today’s most pressing global issues. From political shifts to environmental crises, participants considered how this essential discipline helps us make sense of an increasingly complex world.

Through a creative placard-making session will follow, attendees were called to express their views on issues that matter most to them, whether it’s social justice, environmental activism, or political advocacy. This session aimed to emphasise the power of personal expression and activism in the face of global challenges. Below is a selection of placards created by our participants.
